VISICOMP TOP PICK AWARD FROM DEVX
Felton, Calif. (July 10, 2000) - VisiComp, Inc. today announced that its new VisiCompú 1.2 Javaú software visualization tool was selected as a Top Pick at JavaOne by DevX Senior Editor Chris Preimesberger.
"VisiComp has a unique Java code visualization tool, the only one of its kind on the market," stated Preimesberger. "This product renders type and numbers into a visual model of a software 'tree,' which makes it much easier for a developer to see the structure, find bugs and smooth out the build."
VisiComp 1.2 has an improved internal architecture that allows faster viewing. The architecture also provides more scalability so considerably larger programs can be viewed. Additional enhancements on 1.2 include:
- a highlighted "most-recent-change" colorization in both the arrows and boxes of the program as it is running.
- a throttle control that allows the developer to speed up or slow down the program as it is running for better development productivity.
- a single step control that lets the developer view changes one step at a time for more comprehensive viewing of the program to determine bugs, memory leaks, verification of correct functionality and decipher legacy code.

Pricing for VisiComp 1.2 is $495 with one year of free upgrades included in that price.
