Unlike class browsers that merely display the static relationship between the various pieces of code, VisiComp 1.0 is a true object browser.

Using VisiComp programmers are able to see the relationship between run time objects ö the instances of the classes that the program creates, maintains and manipulates ö while the program is running. Having the ability to see the program as it runs enables programmers to easily track down bugs, uncover memory leaks, verify correct functionality and test program integrity. It can also be used to decipher inherited Java code.
